Congratulations to the Class of 2024

The secret to our VCE success: Start every morning the same way. Our class of 24' has collectively achieved the highest result on record at Melba College, with a median study score of 31
VCE DUX 97.25
Median ATAR 76

I am ecstatic to share the success of our class of 2024. Our class of 24' has collectively achieved the highest result on record at Melba College, with a median study score of 31 for VCE. To say that this is excellent is to understate the achievement - this is monumental and one that we can all be proud of as a school.

Congratulations to our college VCE DUX - Delaney Ball - who has received an outstanding ATAR of 97.25. Delaney was one of three students that achieved over 90 for their ATAR and we are proud beyond measure with this cohort that achieved a median ATAR of 76.

Similarly - I would like to acknowledge our Vocational Major DUX - Joy Van  Cung Nung. Joy has shown tenacity, dedication and exceptionalism both at Melba and within their VET course. We would like to congratulate all our VM students for their work to complete their final academic year and know that the hands-on skills developed over the course of Year 11 and 12 will serve them well in the next steps of their journey.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the work of staff to achieve this success. We have a dedicated and passionate staff at Melba College, and these results are only possible by the dedicated efforts of the teaching team. Supporting students when they need help, modelling our school values and a tireless focus on what is best for our students - these things have all come together, from Year 7 to Year 12, and this success is very much one I am thankful to them for.

Similarly, I would also like to acknowledge the families of our students at Melba College. It takes a lot to support students through their schooling and adolescent years. Thank you for your support of our school, your dedicated advocacy for your child and for being there through the thick and thin. You are a part of our success and I thank you as part of our school community that makes Melba a special place.
