Annual Report
Annual Reports are completed each year by the Department of Education and all education statutory bodies (schools). It is a legislative requirement for all schools to prepare an Annual Report for the school community.
The Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community.
School Strategic Plan
All Victorian government schools must develop a four year School Strategic Plan in the term following a review endorsed by the principal and school council president. The School Improvement Team leads the school in reviewing or updating the school’s philosophy. They share the draft goals, targets and KIS with staff and the broader community to ensure collective ownership and support for the SSP over the next 4 years.
Annual Implementation Plan
All schools must prepare an AIP each year which outlines how the school will implement the goals and key improvement strategies (KIS) that will be their focus for improvement in the coming year.
School Performance Report
School Performance Reports are generated each year and contain details of how the school has performed on a selected set of student outcome measures, compared to all other government schools, by allocation to a performance group.
School performance groups are categories of reporting school performance that sit alongside Panorama dashboards and other reporting products.
The level of detail provided by the School Performance Report supports schools to improve their strategic planning by identifying key areas for improvement and enabling schools to access targeted supports for improved outcomes.
